I lost nearly 19 pounds
One day before my daughters wedding (April 30) I lost two pounds more than planned. That was great news. On February 7 I decided to loose some weight after I tried in a slim cut tuxedo. I was not really fat, I am 6 feet tall and my weight was 217 pounds.
The problem loosing weight was that I had many events going on from our local chamber of commerce, church, friends, neighbors, etc.
I used the South Beach diet with a twist, 2 days vacation per week, where I can have pasta, beer, bread, etc. The other five days I try to behave and avoid carbs. This is an easy to follow diet - no counting of calories, etc.
I gained a couple of pounds because of the wedding, relatives at home I cooked for, etc. The day after mother's day I will be back on the South Beach Diet on a more relaxed form, 3 days vacation of the diet per week and I will add fruit back. I do not want to loose any more weight this year, just to keep it - as I have three cruises coming this year, on the 16th a week to relax after the wedding and in October a great cruise I am organizing to the Greek Isles, Istanbul, from Venice to Rome on Queen Victoria, the little sister of the QM2. Then for my 60th birthday I go on the new ship that is coming - the Epic with the Blue Man Group and more. Next year I want to loose another 15 pounds.
